Champion day at Silverstone for candidates and riders
The annual 'Day of Champions' in aid of Two Wheels for Life sees the BTC take to the stage
After the Selection Event on Wednesday to choose the candidates who could join the 2019 British Talent Cup grid, there was no rest for the riders the following day as the 'Day of Champions' took over Silverstone. The now-traditional Thursday is packed full of activities in aid of Two Wheels for Life, an organisation who raise money to fund programmes in Africa that ensure life-saving healthcare gets to rural communities using reliable transport - on two wheels!
As well as meeting the crowd on stage, the BTC youngsters also met some home heroes such as Cal Crutchlow - and got to make their contribution to Two Wheels for Life, too.
All in a day's work - and now that work continues on track as practice begins on Friday before Race 1 on Saturday at 16:30 (GMT +1) and Race 2 on Sunday at 16:00.
