Lausitzring promises a party vibe for WorldSBK fans

Plenty of off track action to keep fans entertained at #GermanWorldSBK

Right around the corner, excitement for the Prosecco DOC German Round is swiftly gaining momentum and there are plenty of activities on offer for fans to make even more of their experience. Not only will crowds be able to experience the jam packed Paddock Show, there will be the fan zone, SBK Village and live music on offer.

As always the famous Paddock Show will be offerings fans with exclusive opportunities to hear from and meet their MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship heroes. Featuring the all new SuperShow on Saturday, all three days are action packed for the German crowds. Friday kicks off with the MOTUL race chat, team manager’s chat show and the amazing opening show. Saturday features fan competitions before the SuperShow and autograph sessions kick off at 16.15, taking you through all the day’s action. Sunday provides the opportunity to meet the up and coming stars from WorldSSP300 and STK1000, before the race shows concludes the weekend at 16.00h.

Want to continue to have the adrenaline pumping once on track actions finishes? Head over to the stage behind the main grandstand on Friday and Saturday for some amazing entertainment. From 20.00 on Friday Rockvalley will entertain the fans ahead of an after hour DJ set at 23.00 into the early hours. If Friday’s action isn’t enough Saturday sees the party continue, with Queen II on stage from 20.00 before another afterhours DJ set takes place to conclude the party ahead of the main events on Sunday. With camping on site – situated behind the main grandstand - it’s the perfect location to get involved with the party.

Making its return to the Lausitzring circuit, fans are treated to the SBK Village from Friday to Sunday.  Not only is the chance to buy merchandise to support your favourite riders on offer, you can drool over the latest models of your favourite bikes in the exhibitions, on top of motorbike test drives on offer. With activities for all the family, it will make the time with no bikes on track fly by.

Keeping fans entertained in the paddock, the paddock Fan Zone will be open from Saturday to Sunday featuring a MOTUL virtual reality booth, Shad and Acerbis photo shooting and your chance to buy some merchandise to help remember an unforgettable weekend. Fans will also find a motorbike stunt show to feed their appetite for bikes all day long, throughout Saturday and Sunday.

When WorldSBK bikes aren’t stealing your attention on track, don’t miss out on any of the amazing entertainment track side to make the #GermanWorldSBK one to remember. On track action begins on 18th August – 20th August, as WorldSBK returns from the summer break.
