Continuing to recover from injury, Swiss rider Randy Krummenacher looks ahead to next season, which will see the former Kawasaki rider take on the FIM Supersport World Championship once more, as he has signed a two year deal with the Evan Bros team.
A contender for the title in 2016, Krummenacher is no stranger to the competitive series and will no doubt be a title contender as he makes his return to the championship in 2018. Forced to sit out of the final four rounds of the season with a wrist injury, the Swiss rider will be back and fully fit next season. With Yamaha Switzerland also part of the collaboration, it will be a strong season as he hopes to fight for the title from the opening round at Phillip Island.
Krummenacher expressed his joy at the news: "I am delighted to announce the collaboration with Yamaha Switzerland and the Evan Bros team, and I would like to sincerely thank you for the support I have received for the next two years. When talking to the team owner Fabio Evangelisti, the technical director and CEO Crew chief Mauro Pellegrini, I immediately realized that we could build a good project together. This project was made thanks to Peter Hostettler and Yamaha Switzerland, who gave us their confidence and selected me as a rider, I am grateful to all the partners and sponsors who have decided to follow me in the coming season. I would like to take them with me through all the races in the fight for the World Title, to the top step of the podium."
