Solo Moto: ‘Chang a spectacular track, says Pol Espargaro’
Pol Espargaro, one of the few European riders to have ridden on the Chang International Circuit already, has explained the Thai track’s characteristics to Spanish magazine Solo Moto.
Along with Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, Espargaro took part in a presentation for Yamaha of the brand new R3 bike on the very same track: “To be honest I was really impressed by the circuit and its facilities. I also liked the layout of the track a lot.”
The last corner leading to the start/finish straight will be crucial and I’m sure we will see some close racing up to the finish line,” the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider added. “It has to be done in second gear and the acceleration outside the corner will be incredible. I’m sure that it will be great fun aboard a MotoGP or a Superbike machine.”
