Brits 1-2-3 in final Free Practice.

Leon Haslam (Aprilia Racing Team – Red Devils) produced the fastest lap of the weekend so far to head a British 1-2-3 in this morning’s FP4, which will not count towards qualifying.

The local rider is still nursing cracked ribs from his Imola crash but showed great grit to improve by 4 tenths on his time of yesterday to head the KRT racing team pairing of Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea who were 2nd and 3rd.

4th place went to Davide Giugliano (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati SBK Team), with Alex Lowes putting in another strong performance on the Voltcom Crescent Suzuki to go 5th. Chaz Davies on the second factory Ducati completed the top 6.

The final riders in the top ten were Michael van der Mark (Pata Honda World Superbike Team), Jordi Torres (Aprilia Racing Team – Red Devils), Leon Camier (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) and Matteo Baiocco (Althea Racing).

Ayrton Badovini (BMW Motorrad Italia) and Leandro Mercado (Barni Racing) both crashed.

Tissot-Superpole begins at 1200 local time.
