Crash.net – Barrier: "There might be a chance to return to WorldSBK with Yamaha"

UK motorsport website Crash.net reports that two-time STK1000 Champion Sylvain Barrier, who made a surprising return to the series by joining Team G.M. Racing, apparently told the website there could be a chance to rejoin the World Superbike series in 2016 with Yamaha aboard the new R1, should he impress in this season's FIM Superstock 1000 Cup.
“Yamaha gave me the chance to come back,” Barrier told Crash.net. “They give me the opportunity to maybe come into Superbike next year. But they say I need to fight. Nothing in my career has been easy.”
