The English rider currently hospitalised and in intensive care.

Kieran Clarke (CIA Landlords Insurance Honda) will miss the seventh round of the World Supersport Championship taking place at the Algarve International Circuit in Portugal after suffering a serious injury on a track day, yesterday, Wednesday, May 27th. Kieran was taking part in a track day at Donington Park when he suffered a crash. He is currently in intensive care in hospital with internal injuries and a suspected broken arm.

CIA Landlords Insurance Honda’s Simon Buckmaster said: “Kieran is in hospital getting the very best treatment and had a good night. He remains in intensive care and all our thoughts are with him, we wish him the speediest of recoveries.

“Kieran will be missed from the team for the Portuguese Round on June 7th. It is a shame as he had scored a point last weekend and was progressing really well. We look forward to welcoming him back to the team as soon as possible.”

Clarke will be replaced at Portimao by former WSS regular and PTR rider Miguel Praia.
