Suchet and Tucci to ride in new STK1000 collaboration.

Berclaz Racing and MotoXracing will be working together as they compete in the upcoming FIM Superstock 1000 Cup of 2016.

Berclaz, the Swiss team that competed in last season’s Superstock 600 class, has now joined forces with the MotoXracing structure, which last year claimed the runner-up spot in STK1000 with Roberto Tamburini. The resultant collaboration has been named the Barclaz Racing by MotoXRacing Junior Racing Team, which will compete in 2016 with Yamaha motorcycles and riders Sebastien Suchet and Andrea Tucci.

‘Our choice was to opt for an experienced rider such as Sebastien Suchet, who will be competing in his fourth season in the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup, and a promising rider in Andrea Tucci. Andrea is now stepping up to the STK1000 category,’ explained the new team in a press release.

“I can finally announce that next season I will be competing in the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup with the Swiss team Berclaz Racing and the new Yamaha R1!” Tucci writes on his Facebook page. “I am very happy to be stepping up, especially with this great team. I cannot wait to start this new adventure. I want to thank the whole team for this fantastic opportunity and to all of the people who support me and have helped me to realise my dream!”

Sebastien Suchet comes from Sensales in Switzerland and celebrated his 25th birthday in November. Tucci hails from Milan in Italy and is 20 years of age.
