Marco Faccani (San Carlo Team Italia Kawasaki) has been dominating this year’s FIM Europe Superstock 600 Championship. The young Italian rider from Cesena has a comfortable 34 point lead in the standings and has won 4 races out of 5 so far in 2014, the last of which taken last month in Portimao, right before the long summer break.

As the action resumes at Jerez on September 5-7, Faccani will be still looking for the race wins as he claims not to like plans and strategies too much: “We did a great race in Portimao and I’m looking forward to doing the same at Jerez. Our goal is to win every race as I don’t like to make calculations. I already know the track and this will be a good advantage for us.”

Last year Faccani took part in the Spanish Round at Jerez in World Supersport as a wildcard with the Evan Bros. Racing Team, finishing with a solid 15^th place.
