0.810 cover the top 10 at Magny-Cours.

This morning’s FP3 at Magny-Cours took place in slightly foggy conditions but as the haze cleared it was Sylvain Guintoli (Aprilia Racing Team) who ended the 45 minute encounter on top, albeit by the narrowest margin.

Despite the cooler conditions only Loris Baz (Kawasaki Racing Team) was the only rider inside the top twenty who failed to improve his time and will therefore have to take part in Superpole 1, the Frenchman only 11th overall.

Behind Guintoli, Davide Giugliano (Ducati Superbike Team) clung on to 2nd ahead of Marco Melandri (Aprilia Racing Team) who was 3rd.

The remaining riders who will take part in Tissot-Superpole 2, courtesy of being in the top ten after all three Free Practice sessions are: Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team), Jonathan Rea (Pata Honda World Superbike Team), Eugene Laverty (Voltcom Crescent Suzuki), Leon Haslam (Pata Honda World Superbike Team), Alex Lowes (Voltcom Crescent Suzuki), Xavi Fores (3C Racing Team) and Chaz Davies (Ducati Superbike Team).

In the EVO battle it was Niccolo Canepa (Althea Racing Team) who was once again classified as the fastest rider, the Italian claiming 14th overall on the time sheets.

Fabien Foret (Team Pedercini) who is making his last appearance in the WSBK series grabbed the final Superpole spot in 20th.
