Tuesday, 11 November 2014 10:13 GMT

The Italian squad set to race three classes next year: World Superbike, World Supersport and STK600.

Team Go Eleven will be further involved in WSBK racing in 2015 as the Italian squad will make their eni FIM Superbike World Championship debut along with a continuing commitment in both the FIM Supersport World Championship and FIM Europe Superstock 600 series.

Next year the team headed by CEO Gianni Ramello will show even greater than before a natural stepping stone for young riders who want to make it to the top of superbike racing.

The team will once again be managed by former professional rider Denis Sacchetti, who will be helped by former WSBK racer Ruben Xaus from Spain, with the team’s rider line up set to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Team GO Eleven will once again run Kawasaki machinery.

Denis Sacchetti, Team Manager: “We are glad to announce our participation in next year’s Superbike World Championship season, a dream come true for us. It is an important step forward in our racing activities and we will need to give our very best as the level of the field in WSBK is very high. The work done by Dorna on the technical side of the rules, which is spot on, has made it possible and I’m sure the gap between factory and satellite teams will be further reduced. The work and dedication by sole supplier Pirelli has also helped during the years as the company has developed tyres that are able to work very well on different machinery and tracks. We would also like to thank Kawasaki, whose bikes are very competitive and reliable. Soon we will unveil next year’s rider line up.”

With the team’s rider line up set to be unveiled in the coming weeks, one rider has already been signed up by Team Go Eleven for the upcoming World Superbike season, the 20 year old from Switzerland Dominic Schmitter.

Dominic Schmitter: “2014 could have been the end of my racing career. I could not take part in the series as I had to finish my studies but I was able to contest three races as wild card in the FIM Supersport World Championship. The good results I had have helped me securing a ride in such a good team like Team Go Eleven. It truly is a dream come true and I cannot wait for the first test.”
