Jonathan Rea (Pata Honda World Superbike) has enjoyed lots of success over the past years at the Assen TT Circuit. The British rider has won four races and stepped on the podium further two times at the Dutch venue, which is one of his favourite circuits in the WSBK calendar.

"Assen has a lot of different elements, I'd say it's an exciting track with many accelerating corners. On the back straight there is one fast right kink before the left corner, I'm not sure the name (the Ruskenhoek) but it's turn 6 and 7; it's really really fun, you need to be very brave. Also the corner coming back to the last chicane, it's like a little left/right kink into a fast left corner, that's really nice as well because it takes something special to get a perfect round there. Then you come out and you've got the full packed grandstand, a really nice view."
