Voltcom Crescent Suzuki's Alex Lowes is currently contesting, along with the rest of the WSBK field, the second round of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship. The current British Superbike Champion, who chose to move up to the world stage at the end of last season, is looking forward to getting some good results at Aragon.

"I had six weeks off to get fit and ready” said Alex Lowes “my 2014 starts here, it's a learning year for me anyway but I think I can get some good results and I'm feeling pretty good on the bike. I can't wait to get on track, it's another new track for me and it's going to be fun."

Lowes spent most of the long break recovering from the injury sustained during free practice at Phillip Island. The Brit's physical condition is almost perfect, so Lowes is hoping to get two good results on Sunday.

"I didn't do anything for three weeks because of the injury and I was wearing a cast on my foot, then I started doing some physio in the pool. Now it's good, I can say it's not affecting me much so I'm looking forward to getting some decent races under my belt."
