The Spanish rider has great chances to make his debut in the series next year.

Two time Spanish Moto2 Champion and Moto2 World Championship race winner Jordi Torres showed up at MotorLand Aragon last week to try the EVO-spec Kawasaki ZX-10R used this year by David Salom as part of a Media test organised by the Kawasaki Racing Team. Torres is rumoured to be joining the eni FIM Superbike World Championsip next year and the 27 year old Spaniard is not hiding the fact that the chances of seeing him racing in the series are real.

“The feeling was good,” said Jordi Torres. “The bike is easy to adapt to but probably things will become a bit more difficult when you push to the very limit. When I rode a 1000cc machine in the Spanish Championship the bike had no traction control and all these high-end electronic aids. I enjoyed riding the bike at Aragon and I think there are great chances that I will be racing in the Superbike World Championship next year.”
