Team TripleM by Barni Racing to contest the 2015 STK1000 season

Tuesday, 16 December 2014 16:56 GMT

Ondrej Jezek and Marc Moser will race aboard the team’s 1199 Panigale R machines.

The Barni Racing Team – along with the new commitment to the eni FIM Superbike World Championship – will maintain its involvement in the 2015 FIM Superstock 1000 Cup by joining forces with Frankfurt’s squad Triple M. The two riders selected for this new effort will be former race winner Ondrej Jezek – who already raced with Barni Racing in 2014 – and Marc Moser. Barni Racing will supervise both technical and communication sides of the project. This new partnership will be headed by former EAB Team Manager Manuel Cappeletti, who will coordinate the relationship between the two outfits.

Ondrej Jezek: “I’m really happy to be part of TripleM by Barni Racing and to be racing again aboard a Ducati machine. The team will be fully supported by Ducati and I’m sure we will be able to successfully defend the title won this year by Leandro Mercado. We have a lot of work to do during the winter and I cannot wait to jump on the new Panigale.”

Marc Moser: “I’m really proud and honoured to get this opportunity. The Barni Racing Team is one of the most successful teams on both the Italian Championship and the STK1000 Cup. Their support will be crucial for next year and, at the same time, I cannot wait to resume the work with all the familiar faces within the TripleM squad. I’ve raced with them in the last three seasons and I will give my best to match everyone’s expectations.”
